ZT Guitar Amp Review

Now I'm no guitar expert, therefore I'm no professor when it comes to amps, but I do know a good amp when I see one.

I'm a self taught guitarist for two to three years now, starting off with a beautiful acoustic Epiphone and this past summer becoming the proud owner of a stunning Epiphone Wildkat Hollowbody with an antique Bigsby Natural Chrome; with this new guitar my uncle had purchased my twin and I a ZT Amplifier at Guitar Center while we were taking a day trip to Maine. He swore that these little, lunchbox amps produced a monstrous, clear and crisp sound. If you see the size of these, you would think he was lying and that this is just a simple, small amp used for playing alone in the bedroom.

Well... It just so happened that my uncle was right! These amps define the saying "Big things come in small packages". I was so impressed that when it came time for my twin and my birthday I asked my grandmother and aunt to purchase another one so we weren't fighting over the one we had to share.

ZT Amplifiers website states the following about these Mini Mighty guys;

The World's Smallest Stage Amp - All You Need For Any Gig!

Since hitting the streets in February 2009, the ultra-compact ZT Lunchbox amplifier has changed the way many players think about amps. The Lunchbox has proven that an amp does not need to be big to be loud, or expensive to sound great. That you can actually gig with an amp that weighs less than 10 pounds. Doubters have become believers – The Lunchbox really delivers.
Packing 200 watts of power, the Lunchbox has enough output for a jam or live gig, and world-class tone that has pros using it in the studio as well as onstage. Unlike any other amp close to its size, it has the muscle to handle any effects you throw in front of it, and the warmth and depth to sound great with single-coil pickups as well as humbuckers.
Go ahead, plug in and see for yourself. Then, lift your jaw up off the floor, toss your Lunchbox in a backpack with some cords and pedals, and get out there and play!

Each Lunchbox amp stands about 7.5 " x 9.8" x 4.4 " and only weighs 9.5 pounds - Perfect and easy to store and move around!
 The mighty menace contain all needed features for a simple amp;
  • Ambience effect
  • Variable Headphone
  • Custom Ultra-High Performance Speaker
  • External Speaker Output { 8 ohms min.}
  • Aux Input on 1/8" Stereo Jack
  • Voltage Switch {115V/230V}

I {well my uncle, aunt and grandmother} paid $399 for these little guys. For any musician looking to purchase an amp I HIGHLY Recommend ZT Lunchbox Amps, because as the company states;

"The Lunchbox has proven that an amp does not need to be big to be loud, or expensive to sound great."
It's the Baby Bear of amps; Not too big nor too loud, Not too small nor too soft, but JUST RIGHT.

My sister and my electric guitars and our ZT Amps
Peace and Chaos!
